Taylor-Swift
Taylor Swift, in full Taylor Alison Swift (born December 13th, 1989 West Reading Pennsylvania U.S.) American pop and country music singer-songwriter whose tales of childhood heartache gained widespread recognition in the beginning of the 20th century. Swift had a passion for music from an early childhood. Swift swiftly rose through the ranks, starting as a child actor and then singing in front of an audience of thousands. Swift was just 11 when she sang The Star-Spangled Banner at a Philadelphia 76ers Basketball game. The following year Swift began to write songs and picked up the guitar. Swift created original music which was influenced by popular country stars like Shania Twain (now known as the Chicks) as well as Dixie Chicks. Her material reflects her experience of being a tween. Swift was forced to move from Pennsylvania together with her parents, to Hendersonville, Tennessee when she turned 13 to devote more time to wooing artists from the genre of country music in Nashville.
